MONMOUTH, Ore. – On September 24, 2024, the Western Oregon University Foundation announced the launch of a new beer in partnership with Parallel 45 Brewing. The beer will make its public debut on September 27, 2024 at a no-host event in Independence.
According to a press release from Western Oregon University, the September 27 event in Independence marks “the debut of Wolf Tracks Ale, a seasonal fresh hops craft beer that not only tantalizes your taste buds but also supports the WOU football program. A portion of the proceeds from every pint sold will directly benefit Wolves Football, helping to foster community spirit and support local student-athletes.”
WSU, founded in Monmouth in 1856, is Oregon’s oldest public university. With a student body comprising of around 4,000 students, WSU states that approximately 80% of its students come from within the state.
