Halloween 2024 Events in Pendleton

Welcome October! This is the time of year when temperatures finally bring relief from the hot summer months, leaves change and dusk brings mystery to the air. It’s Spooky Season, Pendleton! Pendleton’s Trick or Treat Houses is a private Facebook group to offer up your scares and find the creepiest and most extravagant haunts along the candy path. Here is a compilation of some of the highlights and activities offered in our area:

  • Saturday, October 12, 3pm – 7pm: Echo Corn Maze and Zom-B13 will be spooking it up zombie style! Admission is $12 and includes all general features. Face painting is available by a local artist for an additional fee. A food truck and various drinks will be available.
  • Friday, October 18, at 6pm: Pendleton Public Library offers a Halloween Escape Room for teens. The event will be held at the Pendleton Recreational Gym. Two 45 minute sessions starting at 6:15pm and 7:15pm give teens clues and riddles to breakout. Ages 12-17, no registration required.
  • Saturday, October 26, 7pm: Rivoli Horror II presents A Halloween Costume Ball presented by Rivoli Theater and the Flying X Speakeasy Lounge.  Tickets are $25 or $40 for a couple. This is a 21 and over event with a no host bar. Tickets available at Mercury Ticketing.
  • Saturday, October 26, 7pm – Sunday, October 27, 11pm: Home Town Toys presents a family friendly costume contest with free raffles, door prizes and several costume prizes to be awarded.
  • Monday, October 28, 6pm – 8pm: The Pendleton Convention Center is hosting the 2024 Halloween Carnival presented by Pendleton Parks and Recreation. This event is free and open to the public with all kinds of family fun. Costumes are encouraged!
  • Wednesday, October 30, 5:30pm: Crime Scene in Halloween Town. The Pendleton Public Library invites teams of teens to investigate CSI-style the missing persons case of one Mr. Jack Skellington. Registration is required, ages 12-17.
  • Thursday, October 31, 3:30pm – 5:30pm: The 8th Annual Heritage Haunt will be held at the Heritage Station Museum. Enter through the gates by the spooky caboose if you dare!
