Public Safety Log – 9/15/24

1:48 a.m. – An intoxicated subject was reported at Domino’s Pizza on S.W. Emigrant Avenue.

2:31 a.m. – Officer initiated contact at High Desert Cannabis on S.W. 20th Street resulted in a drunk driver being cited.

4:02 a.m. – Officers were unable to locate a prowler on N.W. Horn Avenue.

4:17 a.m. – Officers were unable to locate a prowler on S.W. 5th Street and S.W. Goodwin Avenue.

6:40 a.m. – Officers warned a person who was camping at Pendleton City Hall on S.W. Dorion Avenue for violating Pendleton’s Resting Ordinance.

9:16 a.m. -Suspicious activity was observed at a rental property on S.W. 8th Street.

9:35 a.m. – A trespasser was warned at Dave’s Chevron 12th Street Food Mart on S.W. 12th Street.

11:18 a.m. – Theft was reported at Safeway on S.W. 20th Street. Justin Porter was cited and released.

11:20 a.m. – Theft was reported at Safeway on S.W. 20th Street.

12 p.m. – Report of drug activity at Til Taylor Park on S.E. Dorion Avenue. Children tried entering the restroom at the park. They found a male with a needle in his arm. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

12:57 p.m. – Harassment was reported at South Main Street and S.W. Court Avenue.

1:59 p.m. – Officers were unable to locate a reported domestic disturbance at Safeway on S.W. 20th Street.

4:17 p.m. – Theft was reported at Walmart on S.W. Court Avenue.

4:44 p.m. – A trespasser was warned at 4th Street Speedwash Laundry on S.E. 4th Street.

5:38 p.m. – Barista at Sorbenot’s on S.E. 9th Street reported that a white male with brown hair and beard wearing a blue sweatshirt with a red circular insignia and blue glasses mentioned sexually abusing children and murdering dogs before placing their bodies in backpacks.

7:06 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported at a rental property on S.W. Dorion Avenue.

7:18 p.m. – Officers initiated activity after overhearing a male screaming about killing someone on S.E. Court Place.

Persons accused of crimes are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
