Welcome to Pendletonian Times

I am currently retooling the system to provide readers with optimal experience, so articles will not be available for an undefined amount of time. The new system is meant to provide faster loading times and will feature a contemporary design. The rework has been in the design stage for almost six months, and I am excited to have everything ready to deploy.

While I am working on this, I am also working on a formal complaint to the Oregon Government Ethics Commission regarding the ongoing violation of my rights by the City of Pendleton. I am up to over 1,000 words and I have not even accounted for much past February 14, 2025. This is ongoing litigation, and I am annoyed that it had to be me, because why me? I am going to come out of this victoriously, though. Get the good ol' boys gone in 2025!

To raise funds so that I do not have to keep paying for things out of pocket, Pendletonian Publishing LLC. is going to be offering astrological profiles for sale. While Pendletonian Publishing is currently not required to procure a City of Pendleton business license, if I can move just ten profiles, I would have company bills paid and would be able to focus more on content creation and my new project, and would have to start paying for a business license.

The new project is a “me” project: I have been attending Eastern Oregon University since March 31, 2025. They accepted most of the credits that I earned starting in 2009 at BMCC, so I am a sophomore.

With the AI development that I am doing, and school studies, I do not have a lot of time left to devote to newswriting, so I am going to change to a weekly publication schedule. Every Sunday, aside from breaking news, which could be pushed out earlier if needed.

It is not clear when the changes are going to be completed. It is going to be a human task to put the existing content into the new system, because AI just cannot be trusted to do anything right, without human intervention. At this point, I've got a local AI server, so on the one hand, my news information stays in the newsroom until publication, but on the other hand, I don't have access to the ridiculous systems that big tech has access to, so it is sometimes faster to just do the work yourself ...

In the meantime, watch the Facebook page for updates. Thank you for your patience!
